View Full Version : We WILL See Rupert Again

Okay, it's after 2am here on the east coast so there won't be any spoiling for the left-coast folks.
The most deserving Survivor ever, our beloved pirate Rupert, was voted out.
But I've been sniffing around tonight, and we WILL see him again!
The next Survivor is nearly done filming and it is an ALL-STAR cast of previous Survivor favorites, including nekkid Richard and sneaky Jerri... and of course, RUPERT. HOO-RAHH!!!!
The all-star version will air directly following the Super Bowl as it has for the past two years. So we don't have long to wait to see Rupert back in action. It's being filmed down in Panama at the *same* islands that the current Survivor is at.
Things will be a little different this time around though, since all of the contestants will be experienced. First, there will be three tribes of 6 people, bringing the starting group up to 18 from the usual 16. Second, they will be stranded with *nothing*, and from what it seems, they won't even get a chance to go into a village and get some supplies.
More info about it here (http://www.baxterbulletin.com/news/stories/20031120/localnews/673492.html).
The final Survivor will air on December 14th, a two-hour final show and then a 1-hour "reunion" with Jeff Probst hosting again (thank god).
Then on Feb. 1st right after the Super Bowl, we get to see the All-Star Survivor - and Rupert. :okthumb: :okthumb:

The ONE fatal mistake that Rupert made, was NOT voting off that sniveling prick Jon IMMEDIATELY after discovering that Jon was the one that cast that vote to get him off....
NO one liked that prick, but they kept voting off other people... wierd...
Looking forward to the new series already.. this one is now going to be boring.... Rupert's two allies are gone in the next couple weeks..... It could well come down to Burton and that emotional train wreck Lil.... NEITHER of which should even be there....
oh well.... like impressions.. its all about ratings.. and I'm sure last night's show was HIGH

Carrie that sounds like it's going to be really fun to watch.

OMG! I was SO upset last night! I was almost in tears seeing him voted out! I agree, Jon should have been out a long time ago, and this would not have happened like this. Rupert just has too good a heart for his own good. I almost don't want to watch the rest of the show now, and that is a first for me since I haven't missed one sinced it started airing.
I will say one thing though, Rupert is going to get more offers and publicity than any other Survivor ever has! He is just an overall great guy! hehe even my kids want to meet him!

Jon is a little shit, but he's good for the show.
I don't think I've ever seen someone show up completely drunk for Tribal Council before.
Even Jeff Probst was shocked. He goes.. "Are you loaded?" :D

Oh Rudy will be great to watch again!! What a character!
I'm hoping they bring back Michael too - remember the one who took a face-dive into the fire? I forgot to check for his name on the All Star roster.

OOH Colby is coming back too!! Hubba hubba purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Hopefully he'll have slimmed down a bit from the Survivor Reunion show - he looked incredible during Survivor and then at the reunion show you could tell he'd been making up for lost food!

From the link I posted above:
Earlier this week, USA Today reported that the all-star edition will feature players from the first seven editions of "Survivor" with 18 contestants instead of the usual 16. It also reported there would be 14 episodes instead of the usual 13, and that the first contestant voted out would receive $25,000, 10 times what is normally paid in other editions.
As for the players, Burnett would only say he was casting for the "most memorable characters" of the previous "Survivor" shows. Although Burnett and the network are tight-lipped about the all-star edition, several "Survivor" Web sites, such as SurvivorNews.net and others, have listed possible players.
Among the ones reported to be taking part are previous winners Richard Hatch, Tina Wesson, Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca.
Other favorites believed to be back include Rudy Boesch and Susan Hawk from the original show, Amber Brkick, Alicia Calaway and Colby Donaldson from Australia and "Big Tom" Buchanan from Africa.
Here's a list of the reported all-star players by their previous appearances:
"Survivor" -- Hatch, Boesch, Hawk and Jenna Lewis
"Survivor: The Australian Outback" -- Wesson, Brkich, Calaway, Donaldson and Jerri Manthey.
"Survivor: Africa" -- Zohn, Buchanan and Lex Van den Berghe.
"Survivor: Marquesas" -- Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien and Rob Mariano.
"Survivor: Thailand" -- Shi Ann Huang.
"Survivor: The Amazon" -- Morasca and Rob Cesternino.
"Survivor: Pearl Islands" -- Boneham.
Burnett told USA Today that he's made the all-star version "much, much harder" to compensate for the players' experience. Burnett said by offering no rations and tougher immunity challenges, "They got kicked in the butt from the very beginning."

Michael's name isn't on the list, dangit. (Michael Skulpin)
He could've killed some pigs while Rupert was out fishing :awinky:
Not sure how many weeks behind we are but I can't believe Jon is STILL in this game!! I think I would have tossed that skinny little smart assed fuck on the fire by now ... how on earth did he get the votes to get rid of rupert?!?!?
big mistake survivors, NOW YOU WON'T HAVE ANY FISH!!!!
