Trouble-Land
Michael Jackson’s Ranch Searched; Lawyer Claims Child Molestation Alleged

Nov. 18 — Authorities searched Michael Jackson's ranch today as part of a criminal investigation, while the pop superstar's spokesman lashed out at "media hounds" who claimed the case involved child molestation allegations.

Between 60 and 70 investigators from the Santa Barbara County, Calf., Sheriff's Department and the district attorney's office carried out a search warrant this morning at the 45-year-old singer's home in the Santa Ynez Valley, officials said. They spent several hours at the ranch.

The search was part of an "ongoing criminal investigation," Sgt. Chris Pappas said in a statement, but authorities declined to elaborate. They planned to hold a news conference Wednesday.

Brian Oxman, an attorney who has represented Jackson family members in the past, said the investigation involved a molestation allegation.

"The investigation is about a 12-year-old boy. This involves a molestation allegation," Oxman said in a statement. "Sheriff's deputies have been investigating this case for months. There's been an ambulance that has already come and gone. And there is a forensics van, on the scene. Here we go again. This is insane."

Jackson spokesman Stuart Backerman told ABCNEWS that Oxman was not authorized to make official statements on the singer's behalf. In a statement released this evening, Jackson's official representatives said he did not know what the investigation was about, but that the entertainer would cooperate with authorities.

You know Macaulay Culkin was the same age as the child that was molested the first time and he did hang out with Jackson at the time.

Its all in the way you title something.

Was he charged? NO he wasnt.

Was a search warrant issued? yes.

Was an ARREST WARRANT issued like when someone is CHARGED? No there wasnt.

Because he was NOT charged, but the media and the like love to make it sound so.

There is no doubt MJ was up to some creepy stuff. He settled with one family for millions.... people don't give other people millions unless they did something wrong.

However, what kind of family lets their kids even near the freak of nature?

It is sad to think some people will sell their children out for some $$$....

I'm sure SexEd would reassure us all that it's completely innocent quality time with the young ones... :zoinks:

EXACTLY!

People have to have some responsibility for the welfare of their own children. We've discussed this ad nauseum about parents supervising NOT supervising their kids on the 'Net... and it applies in SO MANY areas.

I was reading another story recently about a child who was murdered by a family friend. Just the background on the family friend - no media hype interjected, this was all direct quotes from family/friends of the murderer and of the child - just made the bells go off in my head. WHY did those parents allow that child to be alone with that man???

I mean - nobody is the perfect parent. It's just not possible. But some people just have absolutely ZERO common sense and shouldn't be trusted with the responsibility. IMHO anyone who lets their child play with Michael Jackson fits easily into that group. <_<

I may have spoke too soon.

Last night before I went to sleep I was reading how they HAD NOT issued an ARREST WARANT.

Looks as if today they are saying otherwise.

He is a dumbass for sleeping with little boys other than his own kids.

And well if he is a child molester, he will burn.
