Anyone else here plan on listening to it?

This may come as a big suprise, but it's not on my to-do list for today.

Hehehe.. I listen cause I enjoy yelling at the radio!! :P Used to drive my wife nuts cause I LOVE watching political shows on TV and listening to them on the radio and I often yell or curse at the tv while doing so!! :D

My wife never understood how watching/listening to something that could make my blood pressure go way up could be enjoyable!!

I think he just went on in NO, I am about to head to the office so I will listen in the car. I don't listen to radio at house or office....

I am sure that the show will break some records with amount of people listening. Rush has that ability, people love him or hate him, but they still listen.

Hopefully he has overcome his addiction.... he will get to spend a long time getting beat up over it now.

I rarely agree with the man but I do hope he is over his addiction. It does really bug me how people who are fierce "drug warriors" want to trivialize his law breaking and his stance on illegal drug use.

I wish him well with his addictions - and a permanent case of laryngitis. :awinky:

When it comes to his addictions Rush is no different than anyone else.

He's got about a 50/50 chance of staying clean for a year.

He's got about a 1 in 35 chance of staying clean for the rest of his life.

If Rush believes that he is "different" from the garden variety crackhead or gutter drunk - because of his edcuation, personal wealth, celebrity status, or any other reason - those chances get reduced considerably. It really doesn't matter if he went INTO rehab only to try to get out of legal trouble - his attitude when he came OUT of rehab will determine his chances for success today - and today will be all he's got.

As far as that goes, though - the personality he has on the radio may not reflect any of what's really going on with him personally. I once knew a pseudo-"shock jock" who continued to play the "party animal" role on the air long after tylenol and caffinated coffee became his wilder indulgences.

ain't that the true my brother. LSU has the best d-line I've seen(sorry brad, vodooman, meni) I've seen both up close (to close sat night) and they(lsu) were STUDS. I doubt LSU and OU will play but that would be a great game down in new orleans :bdance:

I do not think LSU will make it to NO. I think they are going Orange or Rose.

Probably going to be OU and OSU down here in NO.

No one will beat OU.

I agree that noone will beat them this year. Overall they are the best and are playing great ball at the right time. But I was truely impressed with the tigers sat night. mauch(sp) was on fire and we were playing joe kines bend but dont break Defence(I hate it) and he wore it out.

Next week I have to pull for the rebels(dad is a grad there) and I wouldnt mind seeing eli go out with a SEC ring.
