I rather enjoy the legal system and using it to my advantage.. I was told today by an associate that he couldn't understand that.

I will always remember that after our very acrimonious divorce, my ex went from calling me a "stupid bitch" to just calling me a "bitch". B) I had a crappy lawyer and had to learn about the legal system the hard way to get me through it (and this was long before the internet and all its goodies). It was a good feeling.

Just remember Peaches, when we get divorced you get half of my empire. Anyone know what half of nothing is? :)

No its not wrong, but from my experience its not smart to make a practice of it. Eventually someone you crushed will make it their life mission to come back and crush you no matter what the cost.

The fewer enemies the better in business. Its very expensive to operate when you have to watch your back nonstop.

I read that book, and much to my dismay, found myself agreeing with about 90% of it

It is quite a nice feeling to crush someone who has already made it their life's mission to slap you around at every turn... in or out of the courts.
The slapping tends to stop after that.

I love to see someone get crushed when they truly deserve it....

I have to admit that I enjoy being the crusher at times....

I am told that I am an expert in using the phone as a weapon... :) But most of my crushing stays in my head most of the time....

Better to choose the battles very carefully..... Lots of nuts out there.....

I remember, I think it was Steve Martin..... Talking about the "Scope" commercial back in the 60s-70s... The commercial featured someone getting a bottle of "Scope" anonymously in their mailbox.. To let them know about their bad breath......

Anyway, he goes on to describe the borderline psycho getting the bottle of scope in the mailbox... Just the thing to push him over the edge, next thing you know he's playing sniper from the nearest highrise....

I wouldn't mind seeing Steve Goldman crushed. Crushed to a fine black powder!

But there are few on my "crush" list. Longer I'm in the industry the list does grow though. So far, thankfully, it grows slowly.

KRL is on the money as always.

I only enjoy that sort of thing when someone has gone after me first. It takes a lot to get me bent out of shape enough for that. I would always rather smooth things over if possible, but, if someone pushes me too hard, eventually I push back. In my experience, people who enjoy throwing their weight around too much are shocked when they finally provoke someone to return the push.

some people rather enjoy beating and killing those who "use the legal system to their advantage"

best of luck.

I couldn't agree more. If someone keeps pushing and pushing, it's only a matter of time before you are forced to push back. As always, the harsher the grievance, the sweeter the judgment.
