i have to admit i had very little confidence in the chiefs this year after watching the last 2 years, but they are doing really well.

9-0 for the first time in franchise history: is this dick vermeil's 3rd year charm working its magic in k.c.?

Chiefs are looking good. Vermiel always does something special in his 3rd year as head coach. By far the best team, in a league full of inconsistency!

last three teams to have 9-0 starts
Denver in 1998, Washington in 1991 and San Francisco in 1990
all won Super Bowls.

I heard on Fox NFL Sunday that something like the last 3 superbowl winners started their seasons off as like 4-4 or 5-4, something like that. I am no stats machine, just regurgitating(sp) something I heard.
As for the Chiefs and their impressive season, I wouldn't mind them going to and winning the superbowl, but someone HAS TO BEAT them at least once this year. They have an easy schedule the rest of the season and Miami's (my team) record of '72 is at risk
someone PLEASE beat the chiefs!
