About 85 people have contracted Hepatitis A after visiting a Pittsburgh PA area Chi Chis restaurant. 3 of these people are employees and officials suspect that 1 did not wash his or her hands after using the restroom. The restaurant remains closed.
People who went to this restaurant at the Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca between 10-22-03 to 11-2-03 are strongly advised to receive shots of immune globulin. This prevents people from contracting the disease if done during the 1st 2 weeks of exposure.
Approximately 3,000 people have been given the shot so far. Once symptoms of diarrhea, fatigue, nausea, fever, jaundice, loss of appetite and abdominal pain occur, the shot will not work. The disease takes 2 months to go away.

Yeah, I've eaten there a hundred times but luckily not in the last 6 months or so. Scary thing is that they think a local restaurant supply company may be to blame so they are checking out all their customers as well.

Ack. If it's a supply company then just imagine how many restaurants they'll be shutting down.
Sounds like it's time to eat some good old home-cooked food exclusively for a while.
