Oh puhlease! I've now blown the yard (no comments from the peanut gallery) 5 times and each blow had more than 3 times your tiny little wimpy assed leaf pile. :nyanya:

I used to think people with leafblowers were such wimps until I tried to rake my yard here the first time. I went about 2 feet on a 5 foot wide path and already the pile was 2+ feet deep and impossible to rake.

I should be able to blow just ONE MORE TIME for the season. :okthumb:

Do they even do stuff like that for $10.00? When I was a kid, I mowed lawns for $5.00. A couple of years ago, I asked my neighbor's kid if he wanted to mow the lawn and he wanted almost as much as the professional lawn care places wanted.

Yeah...but you just blow them down the side of your mountain :nyanya:

That is about half my back yard, still have the front and sides to do, then gotta haul them all on down to the local "leave and twig...no grass please" dump.....

Then I will do it again in a week or 3 (unless it snows...lol)... Cause there are still bunches of the damn things up in the trees....

If I'm not mistaken or completely insane and say wibble at the end of each sentence .wibble

That appears to be a golf course behind your fence.

And its dry.

So when can I visit ?

;-))))

Yeah, well, that's true. :P It gets comical because the pile gets so big that I can't add to it, so I'm literally out in the WOODS blowing leaves in order to be able to get my pile out of the yard. Thankfully no one can see me "tidying up the woods". B)

Most of the leaves are off the trees. There's still a couple of inches on the roof which should blow off soon and I still need to take my yearly trek down to the lake with the leaf blower and get them off the path. Slipping on wet leaves is NOT fun, hehehe.

lol...

Yes, it is a golf course... Only thing a golf course is good for is keeping folks from moving in behind me :nyanya:

and you can visit anytime you please.... Just give 5 minutes notice so I can get the garage...err..I mean guest room spic and span....

We bought the lot next door to ours last year, and sold the trailer that was on the property. With that windbreak gone, all the leaves blow right across the street into the city park.

I love to see my tax dollars at work ... :)

I can identify with the leaves...

When I lived in Pennsylvania I used a leaf blower to get the leaves onto a 20 by 30 tarp. Then I dragged them into the woods. Over... and over... and over... and over....

My two maple trees have been keeping me busy lately, but the Bradford Pears haven't even started yet. And they will make one hell of a mess...

Lucky for me I just blow them out into the lawn and I mulch them. It takes a while before they disappear, but it's good for the lawn. :okthumb:

mmm.. they're playing my song :)

The first couple years we were here I blew ALL the leaves to the curb for the town to suck up and take away. Too many hours and too many times required IMO.

Now for most of them I just go out with the mulching lawn mower a few times and blow the leftovers. Goes much faster for me and I end up with considerably less at the curb to blow back into the driveway and street.

Then it's up to the roof to blow that and the gutters. :redance:
