my father's company works with various industries, and one of the guys he works with has a Segway outlet in California.

I mentioned to my dad that Segway is having problems with sales and profitability, and several newspaper articles have explained this in detail.

He said that the guy in California can't keep them in stock, and in fact some wealthy businessman from New York flew in on his private plane and bought every single one he had.

I guess as long as there is a healthy supply of wealthy businessmen with private jets then Segway should have no problems selling product.
