OK.. looks like me and Chat Room Romeo "Mark Buff Mateo" are going to be making it to Montreal for a few days in November, anybody from Montreal around to give me a few pointers ??

I am considering pulling a fast one on my friends. Everything thinks I will be in Vegas that weekend, but Vegas may just be a diversion;-)

However, the city isn't very pretty in November. Lot's of rain, and cold. :(

The only time I was in Montreal it was about 20 below zero when we got off the plane. We went through the airport and went out the doors to the rental car place and about passed out because it was so cold. I was only there for 2 days and was in St. Jean which is a suburb so I don't have any helpful tips other than dress warm. It's already snowed twice here and Montreal is 500 miles north of here. :)

Mike I'm taking the pics with an old Olympus 35mm camera on the "B" setting. I'm new to time exposure pictures, so I'm trying a lot of different things. I'm learning. When I finally get some good pics, I'll post them for sure.

It gives the probability of where one can view Auroras in North America. Usually it doesn't reach as far south as my area (Montreal), but last night was quite a lightshow. It's supposed to be nice again tonight, but to view them it also has to be a clear evening free of cloud cover (obviously).
