Florida Marlins

What an amazing baseball club. The only 2 times they've made it to the playoffs, they've won the World Series. Josh Beckett who won WS MVP, is 23 years old. I think there is like 1 player on the team now that played for them in the '97 world series, Jeff Conine.

In all seriousness... I've gotta hand it to the Marlins. They really played their hearts out, that new manager really came through for them and the fans definitely cheered & supported 100% of the way. I agree with clemsontiger - that Becket is a damned good pitcher - it's amazing how awesome these "kids" are - what a life he's got stretched so far out ahead of him.

As a true baseball fan - you like to see a team like that pull through and win - even if it's not my beloved Yanks!
