the company strategy for growth:
"Hire more lawyers"

I haven't heard anything he said and only glanced at transcript, as my TV was on mute due to long distance phone call...
maybe they repeat it later on today

At least it is now out in the open and people can see what they are doing. The more publicity this gets the better.

I did quite a bit of reading last night and found some interesting tidbits that I will share once I settle in....

But I will start with this one....

As is publically known.... A majority of Acacia'a team came from Gemstar. Gemstar became famous for it's patent litigation. At one point, Gemstar had over 200 lawyers working cases for them....

So, the strategy of "an army of lawyers" has been used by these same people before and to a large degree was sucessful.

This army of lawyers was extremely successful in getting licensees signed up... But ultimately, when the patents were challenged by several of the licensees, Gemstar LOST !!!! The Patents were never upheld or not, what was found was that the companies involved had NOT infringed upon the patents and further that at least one of the patents was unenforceable....

I have a ton of stuff about all this that I put into several text docs and like I said, once I settle in this morning I will start posting them in a way that will make sense, I hope :)

the next importasnt support level is 5...and the stock is not anywhere near it at the moment, but this could change in one day, it's down 10% now
and 19% above 5

you overestimate the intelligence of an average investor and their desire to do due diligence...they trust "guts feelings", not reasons

Was CNBC responsible enough to get an expert patent lawyer or at least a technological guru to provide a counter-point to Berman's predictable line of bullshit?
It's a laughable question I know, but just gotta ask.

Rememebr ACTG stock hovered around 1 to 1.5 per share for quite a while and with heavy trading within the past month saw a high of 8.58

Seeing them down 10%+ for the day makes us all feel good but .........
