View Full Version : Is This Misleading?

There is an AVS out there using the following statement....

"You can see every single site listed on this page...
FREE! That's right, prove you are over 18 and you
have instant access to all the porn!"

When you click the link you have to sign up to Flynt Digital which isn't free and then you get access to all the AVS sites. Just seems to me that it's not a good idea to advertise something as free that isn't in our current times.

Am I nuts to think this isn't a good idea?

Reminds me of a certain company that used credit card details for 'verification' only and still charged the surfer... what where they called again...

I can see this coming back to bite Flynt Digital on the ass <_<

perhaps I am just paranoid, but it almost sounds like you are referring to a site that is listed with my AVS.

I would appreciate if you could direct me to the site that has this particular wording and I will check it out, however, I should point out that at one time we had two options available, and one of them was free via Python. We later eliminated that option.

okay, I am talking to Ulfie via PM, and apparently he thinks the system implies that we are saying Sex Pictures Pass is free. Well, we do not say that, nor do we ever imply that.

I can assure you that we have strict standards set by FlyntDigital as to what we can and can not say. . . . and as far as chargebacks go, we have never had one, and only had one surfer's check bounce.

hey seem to be as happy with our performance as we are.

Here's the reply I got on another board....

there are quite a few people who haven't changed the pitches on their sites since spp started working with flynt digital

the site you got your text from is http://www.sexpicturepass.com/ which i maintain. it was created before spp changed direction

thanks for the heads up, need to change that text

Glad everything got straightened out. Their site has been updated. It's nice to deal with reasonable people for a change.

and I am glad we got it resolved, I was really starting to wonder what the hell was going on, and I forgot that we had given sexpicturepass to an affiliate to work, and it did not occur to me that you had a typo in the URL . . . . now, I hope you take the same time to go check out the real URL. We have a pretty good thing going, if I don't say so myself.

I'm glad everything got cleared up. The site has been fixed after the webmaster was notified. For the record, I was typing in the wrong url. Sorry baddog but good to see you on Oprano. :)
