In the October 27 issue of People Magazine (my "WSJ" B) ) there's a DVD for "24" that states it has previews, behind the scenes stuff, etc. (and I'm betting an ad for the F150, since they're showing the first episode w/o commercials :P ). I haven't watched it yet, but thought it might interest the other "24" fans. :bjump:

Dave has both the entire first and second seasons on DVD.

Me - I just wait for the Marathon and stay up for 24 hrs - :-)

They do that?
Sounds geeky, but it would probably be a lot of fun. B)

I'm on hour 6 of Season 2. Trying to do 3-4 episodes a day before Season 3 starts Oct. 28.
Good thing I will be flying a bunch before the premier. Lots of laptop DVD watching time :D

I rented season 1 and will be renting season 2 soon. :)

And I found out by putting the disk into my DVD player - it is NOT a DVD, it's a CD.

I'm looking forward to it as well, but I have been thinking about waiting for it to come out on DVD. I missed the first few episodes of the first season... SweetT loaned me his DVD's when it came out, and I did a marathon weekend. I blew an entire weekend in front of the TV, but it was fun and I didn't have to wait for things like "Three weeks from tonight, on 24..." That's torture.

Well Sharpie, I missed the entire first season. I only got on the 24 bandwagon for the 2nd season. So I will have to purchase the DVDs I guess.

That 24 hour marathon sounds fun. Did you make it all the way through?

I had watched some of the first episodes, so I didn't have to start at the beginning. But yes, I did watch it for 12 straight hours. 11pm to 11am I think. I did doze a few times during commercials, and missed maybe the first 5 minutes after it came back on - but, was still with the story line................. I kept saying "this is stupid, I am going to go to sleep after this eposide" but I just couldn't give it up. I did go to bed at 9pm later that night and slept for 12 straight hours... :-)

Since I had the DVD's it was easier...

I got home from work on a Friday night and nothing was on TV. I said "hey, I've got that 24 thing Tony gave me... let me see what all the fuss is about."

I popped in the first DVD and ended up glued to the television for 5 hours. I was hooked. Got up Saturday morning and started right away and watched 17 episodes that day! HAHAHA Sunday morning with just a couple left it was a piece of cake...

Man, I need to get a life.
