Nah ... Mizzou doesn't suck. As much as it pains me to admit it, OU is just that damned good.

Besides - Mizzou beating OU and the Cornholers in the same season is purty-near the Cubs and Red Sox in the World Series.

It's a typical Mizzou team ... KU beats us, we beat Nebraska. :yowsa: As a long time Mizzou fan I'm not afraid to admit we suck when we do - I'll need to see how the rest of the conference schedule goes before I (am forced) to admit it. For a program that's been as hosed for as long as ours has, even a brief appearance in the top 25 is a sign of progress.

Trust me, long about the last time Mizzou beat Nebraska I learned NEVER to bet on a Mizzou game.

Smith's a sophmore, and very much likely to get better - and I think the Mizzou program's going to get better too (famous fucking last words).

Last time I saw them play Outlaw was at QB - great athlete, but not Big 12 QB material.

I finally gave up on it halfway through the 4th quarter.
