unfucking believable!

read this post.

so you understand that there is some pretty solid evidence to blow Acacias patent claims out of the water.

then check this out on a board for Acacia stock.

difficult to believe that the average investor here is so completely fucking dumb that they dont have the slightest clue what they are investing in and what factors affect the stock price and are making it go up and down.

i have never really read those types of boards.

what a bunch of ignorant assholes. funny. they seem to have no clue about anything. they are investing in Acacia and dont seem to know what the company is, why stock is going up... why it could crash at any second.

i am really dumbfounded.

amazing.

i should have been a broker :)

JR, during the internet bubble, the only people I know who weren't burnt were...our collegues,
we NEVER bought internet stocks, as we knew what a bunch of hot air the business model was
;-)))

I don';t give a rat's ass about "investors"

Thats the great thing about the stock market, if there were no stupid daytraders, then it would be real hard to make insane amounts of money :-)

Stupid daytraders use stocks like gambling - they canīt go to the casino, so they invest in stocks using the same science to pick stocks as they would at the roulette table picking black or red:

"I got a good feeling about red - hold my rabbit foot - I will buy me some Acacia stocks" :yowsa:

OMG - this totally describes my cousins to a "T" - they are always trying to get everyone to invest in the stocks they've "discovered" cuz they've just got a good feeling about them.

Of course these are the same family members who crawl around frequently asking the stupid working stiffs if they can borrow some $$ to cover their losses (aka asses).

its really pretty interesting when you read all the threads.

there are some smart people... for the most part, they seem to be gambling on the behavior of the other idiots rather than the performance of the company.

thats gotta suck. predicting numbers and dealing with solid data is much easier than predicting the behavior of a bunch of 20 year old trailer trash, wanna be traders, who just bought "How to make millions in day trading"

you are 100% wrong.

The law of big numbers covers them to the T...

whoever plays those idiots will win, idiots will lose,
as they lost in ALL the market games from tulips to internet

I think idiots are easier to predict.

Send idiots mail re a stock they buy.

Send it to smart people...they short it ;-))

An idiot will move in the direction he has last been told to move , by a lessor idiot. - Nicks 1st law of Moronishness

For each idiot , there is a greater idiot - Nicks 2nd law

The reason is simple - these folks are much more likely to listen to Robert Burman's rosy-red view of the world and his company's role within it than they are to visit a message board with the word "fuck" in it.

Translation: They don't know about the instances of prior art that are being compiled, and simply believe Burman when he says Acacia spent hundreds of thousands of dollars hiring patent busters and college professors to hunt down prior art and none of it invalidated their patent.

I have an extensive list of prior art that was compiled by someone who worked in the digital compression for audio/video arena long before Acacia came along. Impa has this list; actually they've got a much more detailed version of it. I hunted this guy down on the net, sent his name to Spike and contacted him myself to get a copy of his research. Turns out Spike and the lawyers had contacted him just two days before and he had given them a more detailed version.
If any of you guys want/need the list I've got, just let me know - I should know who you are, of course. I'm not going to inadvertently send stuff to Acacia goons.
