It's very dreary-looking and cold outside today. That wonderful crisp feeling is in the air. I'm in a spectacular mood because it reminds me of Christmastime.

Anyone done any shopping? I haven't. Normally I have most of my gifts by now, but I've been too busy with getting back into building and running around like a chicken with my head cut off taking the crotchfruit back and forth to school.

Just think... 3 weeks to Halloween (I have two spidermen to walk around this year), 4 weeks after that to Thanksgiving (for us yanks), and then 4 weeks after that to Christmas.
Time flies too damn quickly! (We need a santa smiley, hehe)

Hmmm
Not a big fan of Christmas (but you should see me dressed as Father Christmas)

What I'm really looking forward to and counting the days to is ......
A week in Walt Disney World with Sebastian where everything is dressed up for the Holidays - December 6 to December 13 - plus warm Florida weather during the winter

As many times as we've been we've never went during the Holiday season

And going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time
(it's an event where the Magic Kingdom is transfered into a winter wonderland complete with snow on Main Street)

53 more days and counting

Vick I bet you'll have a blast in Disneyworld when it's all done up like that. I've never been during the holidays either, but when I did get to go it was wonderful. Epcot had just opened (yeah it was a long time ago).

I'm waiting 'till my youngest gets to be 5 before making plans to go down there. Want to make sure he can remember it. :)

B1tch I'm jealous! Want to do my shopping for me too? :awinky:

Oh sure, "bah humbug", mmmhmmmm.....
But you sure love those pumpkin pies, don't ya? And those big dutch apple pies with steam rising out of them and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top... a nice christmas ham with sweet potatoes and warm rolls...

Maybe we should change "bah humbug" to "please pass the butter" :awinky:

I have 1 person bought for, but a whole headfull of ideas for everyone else! I get to miss halloween. I am going to Las Angelas Oct-26-31, ahhh, my favorite holiday!

Vick, you will LOVE Disney for the Very Merry Christmas. If you get a chance, go to MGM for their Christmas light celebration. They have the Osborne Christmas lights set up, and usually they give you these really cool 3-d goggles to put on. The display was just breath taking, and with the goggles on, it's unbelievable!

I'm actually 1/2 way through my shopping for the year. All I have left to buy for are 2 family "gift drawing" presents that we do on both sides of the family.

The kids were easy this year. All they wanted were new TV/DVD combos and a trip to Vegas during the holidays. :rokk:

I know... it SOUNDS weird, but Caesars Forum Shops are GORGEOUS during the holidays and there are lots of cool shows to go see that are only out that time of year. They really don't do much where we live, so getting to a "big city" to see all the lights & stuff is really a cool thing. The kids are getting older now (12/14) and their interests are changing - *sniff sniff* - but at least I won't have to wrap anything this year! :awinky:

Thanks Kittyfuzz

The Osborne Christmas lights won't be up this year :( as a new attraction (stunt car spectacular) is being built where Hunchback of Notre Dame theater used to be (end of the NYC street)

Oh now that just sucks! That shows how much I keep up with the local attractions! LOL... Well, hopefully the Tragic Kingdom will still have cocoa!

I was very sad to see my kids' tastes change. No more toys! Now who am I gonna get up the day after Thanksgiving at 3am to buy the newest cool toy for this year? Waiiiiit, I wonder if Faravilla is having an after Thanksgiving sale... muhahah!
