More action than dialogue, swords do most of the talking.

However it is absolutely eat up with Tarantino style. I thought it rocked.

Just came back.

You can tell Quintin dragged it out to make 2 episodes. Katie loved it... It was ok. I was never a big fan of kung-fu type movies.

Yeah, that would definitely be a qualifier on this one, if you dont like the old sunday afternoon kung fu theater type stuff, you wont be able to appreciate the movie.

Liked it enough I think I am going to go see it again this week.

Damn that was a bloody movie! Full-on arterial sprays, heads flying, feet flying, intestines flying, bodies splitting in two, heads crushed, blood, blood, and more blood!
Can't wait to see fucking Vol. 2!

There were so many references and homages to various cult films that even though it was a new movie it felt like it was a familiar one. The model set of downtown Tokyo was leftover from a 2001 Godzilla movie. The yellow and black track suit that The Bride wears is a tribute to Bruce Lee's suit from Game of Death. Sonny Chiba - 'nuff said.

Gotta love Kaboom cereal!
