I did not...EVERY place we went antipasti were served FIRST...

Milan is an Italian hidden treasure

I was planning on going to Milan this winter and doing some sightseeing and skiing in Switzerland and Austria. Like I said, I was planning on it but life has a way of kicking you in the nuts from time to time so I won't be going.

Great location for visiting a lot of different countries. I'll get there eventually but until I do I can live vicariously through Serge and LL. ;)

Should I be unpacking? :(

You could come to my mountain. It's not the Alps but it's still a mountain with snow on it. :)

Can I bring the dogs? We can tie little (REALLY LITTLE) whiskey barrels on their necks and send them out to save skiiers! :P

True peaches, there are a lot of things that machines just can't do.

Sure, you can bring the dogs. They'll love it. My aunt brings her sheep dog up all the time.

Serge, that's a great pic. Last time I was in Europe was a long time ago but I remember a funny comment from a tour guide. "We are now heading into the new part of town which was built in the 1600's." We Americans can't really appreciate how much history there is in Europe until you visit it personally. Blew me away when I was there.
