not sure if anyone can hit wood's, IF he can get some help I think the cubbies and beat the marlins. But he has to have help from the mound and some hits to boot.

Should be a fun series :rokk:

(grumble, grumble) I'll have to second Danny's "Go Cubs"! There's nothing stronger than a Cub's fan and they have the most awesome, cool ball field. B) Plus one of my best friends was snatched up by a Chicagoian, my first memories from childhood is from when we lived in Chicago and my brother was born there, so some of my heart is in the Windy City. :rokk:

Saw a cool shirt the other day,

Shake it off Chicago, everyone's entitled to a bad century.

I like a few of the Braves like Maddox, but I have to root against them because I detest Turner and his evil (ex)wife.

Besides, it's moot. If the Yankees play like they have been, it's another WS for them.

um, Turner doesn't own the Braves anymore...AOL/Time Warner does ;-)

I, too am a hardcore Braves fan, but am amazed they actually did what they did this season. At the beginning of the season, there wasn't a single sports writer who picked the Braves to lead the division much less have the best reocrd in baseball. Alas, they choked again in the post season.

I do have a softspot for the Cubbies too, but man, was I impressed with the Marlins. They made their win over the Giants look like a stroll through the park.

All I know is that, so far, this post season has been one of the most exciting in years.
