I'm about half way through this book called "fast food nation"... it's a pretty thorough examination of the fast food industry, their history, their food, the effects of their business processes.

All i can say is holy shit, i'll never be able to eat anything red that says "Color Added" again.

I've read it (and still eat FF, hehehe :awinky: ). The marketing info is what amazed me. And the scents they add, lol!

Hooper,

I've looked at that book dozens of times at the bookstore (since i'm often looking in Sociology) and have always picked up something else.

I'll get it now. :-)

Interesting. Like what? I bet Dunkin Donuts does something amazing to those donuts.

yeah, i cant put it down.

well whats so interesting really is that so much of the food we eat is completely colorless and completely absent of flavor... the flavors are all generated in laboratories, as are the textures and the smells.. it's pretty fascinating science.

If you ever read the ingredients of a Little Debbie's food product (which I did) you'll never eat one. I couldn't find a single natural ingredient other than sugar in a list of about fifty items. I swear they must be owned by Dow Chemical or something. *bleck!*

I've never had more fun than with a bag full of x, two big titted blonde girls, and a dildo.

Synthetic drugs, fake hair color, fake tits, and fake cock.

Of course they are just as good 8 hours later when they set up.

WRONG! They MUST be eaten warm!! :zoinks: Which is usually in the car for me since the nearest one is 60+ miles away. :(

Though I also like Dunkin's - I've never met a carb I didn't like. B)

BTW, the author of Fast Food Nation also has Reefer Madness out - not entirely what you'd think, but it's about the black market - including drugs and sex. :) I have it on order with Amazon.

Hooper, despite lots of pasta around,
we find Italians to be much slimmer that Americans...
I already mentioned how Norvegians were slim
