Well OldJeff wins this week's exciting edition of the NatNet Pickem with the closest total final score prediction.

Jeff wins the XBox or Playstation from MaxCash and $250 in design work from Webinc.

Congrats Jeff!

I'm confused. I thought last week it was closest without going over?

46 is closest to 41, the actual total, but it's definitely over while someone (i forget the handle) did have a lower score.

Not that it's likely to matter to me personally the way I've been picking so far, but just curious which way it goes.

Here's the deal on the tie-breaker. The software that runs the Pickem breaks ties using the total score predictions for the Monday night games, closest prediction to the actual score wins - doesn't matter whether the prediction is over or under the actual score. So that's the way the contest will decide tie-breakers - IF a situation arises where two people tie in the tie-breaker i.e. one person predicts 35 points, the other predicts 45, and the actual score of the Monday Night game turns out to be 40 - the person with the predicted total score UNDER the actual score of the game wins.

Also for the first time in the contest a whole bunch of people got the Monday night score prediction bang on correct - there is a 3 point bonus for doing that. The weekly championship is awarded to the person with the most wins that week NOT the most points. The bonus points will figure into the overall season standings. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't have set up the contest with the bonus points because I really think the winner of a Pickem should be the person with the most wins not some flukey ability to predict a Monday night total score.

Got it? Hope so cuz i'm not sure I do

From barely 500 the first 2 weeks to this.

Well thats it folks, I am done, I have just accomplished all I ever will. :)

This will be another first, I guess since there is no control of the results I am eligible to win something from Max Cash ?

As well I have no need of desing work for personal use (unless someone can give me a really good idea) so I am guessing Max Cash will get some new banners and add tools.

is that why the top 15 looks like this?

People with less wins and a worse percentage are on top of others with more wins and better percentage?

Thanks for the clarification Mutt.

I do like the new software, very slick. The bonus is an interesting twist.

Meni don't make picks until there's a line on all the games, make sure to come back and check them out before Sunday.

Shok,

With the 3 point Monday night bonus points available yes the rankings will look like that. Should make things interesting though if I had it to do over again I think I'd leave it out.
