Got several new things coming and i need input on a content management script

I can get my guys to write one if need be but is there a Great one already done???

I use some stuff that I wrote for myself, but it is all desktop side, not serverside.... (the search and replace utility I've been dragging around in my sig for the past month is the first piece I broke out from what I use)

I think OldTom might have a few things for server side http://www.otscripts.com/ots/pcm.html?OTSdefault

and then of course there is Dravyk's Content God......

For something that purports to update constantly, why have their sample pages never updated in a year? Why don't their sample pages click to anything workable or viewable, not to another section, another gallery, not even from thumbs to pics? Why do their admin demos always go to an HTML form that is never connected to a script? They say a lot on their site, but not a thing on it ever proves it. I mean hey, anyone can claim to have a script that turns dogshit into gold, and have a "demo" site with a pic of dogshit and then a pic of krugerands and call it "before and after" shots.

Content God has a fully-featured *working* demo and is the only program of it's kind to have it. "Samples" are real-time created ones in the publicly-open to all demo. There's no guessing what it *might* be able to do.

Finally, the best thing I can think of is the opinion of an accredited third-party source. Check out the software review in the current issue of AVN Online:

Opti, there is such scant info on AWiz's site as to what it can do that it is the only program I could never do a comprehensive features list comparision table with (on the Content God website). So I honestly don't know the complete answer, as they don't give complete information. Nor have anything working on their site to back up their claims.

I do know that, yes, there are things they say their program can do, that CG does not yet have in it. I also know that CG has about a hundred features that their's doesn't have as their's is only a paysite manager while ours also creates freesites, AVSs, TGP galleries, POTDs and GOTDs; handles sponsors materials (banners, buttons, HPAs and FPAs); handles recip links to TGPs and links lists; creates htaccess files on the fly; and a whole lot more. Rest of the features can be found on the site. B)

Anyway, we have finished v.2 of aWIZ Paysite, and new version of site is ready too. Clients list will be available as well - it is a true remark.
We just awaiting for beginning of October, to present it in our company's monthly release.

We were not satisfied with any product in the marketplace. We had specific needs, so we developed our own Content Management System. It is pretty damn awesome, and we will be adding new bells and whistles all the time.

We even have a few things that we are looking to patent... Stuff for member retention.

Mike, I quite agree. Many people have customized CMSs. Content God itself began that way for my own private use initially. Makes a lot of sense in many instances to do so. Also, as you know, not everyone can afford to do that. They will run in the four and the five digits easily. Those that can, have already done so. Those webmasters who can't afford their own customware, products such as Content God are excellent alternatives.
