I haven't been to Italy yet.

I'm looking to do a unique vacation next year. Thinking about volunteering on a dinosaur dig.

God bless John Ritter and his family.

I was young when 3's company came out and I truly loved what they did with that show.

He always made me laugh...

Cheers

Tomorrow is promised to no one :(

I really enjoyed his work, he had a great gift for making people laugh. He was damn good in the movie "It" too though, which was definitely not funny!

RIP John, my prayers go out for his family.

I caught the news of Ritters dead this morning.. very sad. I liked his new show.. Its always tragic when someone dies young.. Johnny Cash's death is not as difficult.. he was 71. Ritter was only like 54.

Probably.. kind of hard to replace him.. and the show couldn't hardly go on without his character. Its very sad that he died but can you imagine the mixed emotions the cast must be having? Sad over his death but also sad over the likely lose of their jobs.

I have never been a fan of any of John Ritters' TV shows, or movies. But I thought he was a funny man, and I always liked him. I kept waiting for some good writers to come along with the perfect script for him.

As Serge said, life is short. Follow your dreams NOW! :rokk:

Three's Company was the the first tv show my mother banned us for watching on moral grounds (they lived with a guy they weren't married to).

Yesterday wasn't a good day to be a John :(

Go buy or rent the movie "Sling Blade"

Billy Bob Thorton got the recognition, but John Ritter was acting gold in that movie...

I got burned out on Three's Company pretty quickly (four episodes, I think), but he was a good actor. I didn't realize (or had forgotten) that he was country legend Tex Ritter's son.

He did a tremendous job in a Buffy episode (2nd or 3rd season) where he was a robot........... But you didnt know he was a robot until way into the show.... You knew he was evil though...........

He did a great job in It too :)

He will be missed...........

All these folks only 9 or 10 years older than me dying....... Has me thinking lately.........

sarah -

My mom too! I can remember her saying, "you aren't going to watch that show with those sex pots and that guy that lives with them" - lol Sex pots???? :biglaugh:

What a shocker to just "go" like that... no warning... undetected... you really gotta feel for his family right now.

And you're right Bestat - nobody is promised tomorrow... I think I'm going to take the day off early and spend a full weekend with my kids - just hanging out, spending time, making memories... things like this make ya think... NOBODY is promised tomorrow...

:(

yeah I was banned from watching that..the other show was Married With Children

Got to think about it though, Three's Company was basicaly one sex joke to the end and we were rather young at the time.

Trivia..Three's Company is a direct copy of a British show called Man about the house..even the Roper's spin off was a copy of the spin off of the British show.

Oh, and no she doesn't know.

Three's company was stupid and predictable but it was a funny show. I still watch it sometimes on Nick at Night. I think Ritter made it what it was. Sad to see someone go so young. :(
