Greg and I went striper fishing this morning. Got up at 3:45am to drive to a lake an hour north of Dallas.
As you can see from the photo, I caught the better fish. We had a total of about 20, mostly 1-2lbs. My two big ones were 4-5lb each. Greg had a nice one, 10lbs or so on early in the am. but lost it.

Have yet to hit fork, I think Greg and I are going to hit it in 2 weeks. Next week I am cabo looking for my first marlin. My goal is to fish a new body of water each week. Looking to make a return trip to NO as well. Had a blast fishing with MikeAI.

Nice fish Brad...
I am jealous... I am stuck working my ass off. Hopefully later in the month I will get to go fishing again!

Have you spoken to the wedding planner about the availability of offering free fish to be served? :P
My theory is that whomever took the picture is the actual catcher of the fish - Brad and Greg just lounged around and drank beer all day (and ate cute bagged lunches B) ).

I do not drink and fish, I hardly drink at all anymore. Laura did not bag me a lunch today, I was dissapointed! Mike, relax, do not work so hard, life is short!

I would have thought that, as a species, gay marlin would have a very small chance of survival.......

Anyone can take fish pictures when you get them in the boat. I prefer going in to see them....

Nicer Fish Brad! Did you clean and eat them yet? What rating do those strippers have as far as taste? How are the rated....
I am sidelined, and have not gotten to fish since July 3rd, and the rate I am going with the boat repair needs, I think my season is over until next year.
So catch my share of the fish!

Opti, I am not hiring;-)
Slav, not my boat, it is the fishing guides. Wish it was though, it was a sweet center console. But at this point, I would rather pay $250 to use him for a day, then spend $30k+ on a fishing boat.
Lee, stripe bass is a very white flaky fish. Yes, we kept 2 big ones, and several small ones to cook up. Think Greg is going to do a fish fry next weekend.

it's been too long!
Joe must have had a big backorder of bottles for you, since you have been out of town for so long.
We're going out Sat, if you guys are around.
Did I mention that we got married last month? I guess somewhere there is a rule that if you want to keep seeing the same hot girl naked for more than 3 years, (5 if you have big dick and big bank), you have to put a piece of compressed carbon on their phalangial metacarpal.

why people like to catch poor fishes and throw them back in the water ?
you like it when someone is hanging food in front of your nose and stick a needle in your mouth ?
never understood ...

damn Brad, I'm jealous...haven't been fishing in a year, so busy working. I really miss hooking a nice battle.
Used to go bigmouth bass fishing 2-3 times a week when I lived in Alabama, even entered the tournaments...lots a fun.
Been deep sea fishing 3 times here in florida for marlin and never caught the big one yet... some day :)
