No one has ever quit smoking and lived to tell of it!
j/k. Good luck, man. What's your plan?

Congrats! :inlove: I stopped many years ago, but I can tell you, the ONLY way to do it is to just MAKE yourself not smoke. It's NOT easy and it's a craving that while it will wane, it will never go away. It's been 15+ years since I stopped and to this day after a couple of drinks or if I'm REALLY stressing, I'll want one. Thankfully I know they'll give me a headache so IF I take a puff, I'm happy with just that.
Plus I'm REALLY stubborn and if I put my mind to doing something, I do it, hehehe.
I got my son to stop smoking when he was 16 - if you'd like, I can come over and use the same technique - he has problems even BEING around smokers now.
Put your "cigarette" money in a box in and in a month, spend it on something really fun! :)

thanks for all the encourgements(sp) :)
2 years ago when I turned 40(yeah I know, I dont look aday over 35;) I quit for almost 2 years cold turkey. Then last winter at a concert I started again with just a smoke or 2. That pretty much started me up again:( Well I've been wanting to stop for awhile now. Sunday morning after a day of drinking, hollaring and smoking(game day stuff:)) I couldnt talk, my throat was on fire. So yesterday I went and got the Nictrol inhalers to help me kick it.
So for so good :rokk:

If I could move into my truck I could quit smoking.....
I have had it 6 months now and it has not been smoked in at all, ever.....
(of course, I never drive it more than 15 minutes at a time)

Good luck Danny!
This may sound really goofy but a buddy of mine that used to smoke 3 packs a day used slimjims to help him quit. He used to buy a box of them and cut them in half and pretend he was smoking them. I know it sounds weird but it work for him.
