Whoever this is could quite possibly have a perfect week (if my Falcons will just step up)

Yup, looks like they've got this week sewed up. T is the only one in striking distance 2 games back, but you both took Oakland, so best you can do is gain 1 game.

Falcons getting a win under their belt makes up for a horrid week of picks for me. I'm beneath both GonZo and Billy....

Wow... 14-0??? Impressive! :wnw: :wnw: :wnw:

I'm way down at the bottom of the pile with everyone else... stoopid point spread. lol

But this is fun... thanks to NatNet, Oprano and all involved for bringing this pool to life for webmasters every year. It definitely makes football weekends a little more interesting!

I'm so embarrassed. I bet against ATL because I thought we were screwed. :( :headwall:

How can he be 14-0 when he bet on NYJ and JAX to win? Looks like 12-2 to me. Other players are affected by the as well.

Does it have to do with the spread?

Figures, I trash talk and end up 8-7

still not bad for someone who hasn't even watched so much as a football highlight this year...although I accidently clicked on the ESPN link to their nfl live thingee...

hell with football, how about the national League WildCard race...one of the most exciting baseball pennant races in years.......

Jets were a + 3.5 which gave them the win.

Jax was also a + 3.5 points which gave them the win also.

Yup, that's the spread. Carolina won the game, but they didn't cover the spread.

For Carolina, as the favored team, to have been the winning pick in that game, they would've had to have beaten Jacksonville by more points than the spread.

If memory serves, the spread on that game was 3.5, so Carolina needed to win by 4 or more.

Thanks, that's what I figured. This is my first year playing in the pool.

Join the club... I woke up late after being at RocHards bday party and the early games were over. It was all I could do not to cry... and if I see one more mention of the Texans I will kill someone!

KK... did you see Gruden's press conference? He said they wanted to make him a two dimensional player this year. Could see more trickery.

Hell...Sapp could probably start at QB for my Bears. Thanks again, Kordell!
