Who will win this year's Super Bowl?

OldJeff

The Bears, and Kordell Stewert will have an MVP season.

(I doubt it, but that is the kind of shit that happens to us Steeler Fans)

I'll pick the Packers *groan*

Packers play in a breeze of a division and should chalk up some easy wins. One of the easiest projected schedules in the league. Good chance for home field advantage in the NFC.

The Dolphins. Only because I have said this every year for 30 years! :D

Actually, it was 31 years. The 72-73 season. I remember it even though I was only 7 yrs old.

We were still in Miami and I can remember my parents and all their friends going crazy!

We still have a commemorative table made out of an old ship hatch with flag, buttons and pics of the team.

Ah, those were the days. Next best was when we beat Chicago in 85'. ;-))

Worst, when Marino lost in his rookie year. ;-((

Of course, the Dolphins won in 73-74 also.

Yeah, that was a HUGE knock-off in '85 to preserve the record.

For these same reasons, I'd have to pick the Rams..... (even though I dislike them!)

Saints are prob another year out!
Need a few more defensive studs....

Did you say studs : )

I would like to see Tampa Bay... but I would put my money on (I hope Katie does not see this) Oakland : (

I have to pick the Steelers since I'm a homer. I think Philly is the team to beat in the NFC. Their defense is awesome.

MMmm, I'd love to see the Fish take it -- they need to at least get a division title or Wannstedt is going to be job hunting I'll bet...

But on a practical note, I'd say the Chiefs have a good shot, Oakland has a chance and Tampa could repeat. Philly needs to learn to spend their salary cap at the end of the year to buy what they need to win -- until they start doing that, they'll be the perennial also rans.

I don't ever bet on the Steelers. It's a karma sort of thing. I did look it up though and the Steelers are 7-3 in KC since 1985 and 8-1-1 against the spread. ;)

Used to be you could bet the lock on statistical KC bets -- for instance the Raiders simply could not win in Arrowhead... those days are gone for them tho -

Owned or not in any one week, they've still got a kickass chance to get there with the schedule they play.

Man oh man oh man ... Warner sucked, and I don't think the concussion explains all of it. I believe it was Vick, among others, who suggested last season that the phenom that was Kurt Warner may have passed - this week sure didn't do a lot to dispell that theory.

Vick
09-08-2003, 12:33 AM
PD - I noticed a lingering problem with Warner's hand and his delivery over the past 2 seasons
Was hoping that another off season of rest and he would be healed

6 fumbles today showed me he still might not be ready to go.....

It's a shame, Warner was/is a great story

Seattle is my pick. Knew there offense was good, but I think there defense is good, also. Easy schedule, though...but still my pick.
