I thought you retired the show?

I said that without more cooperation - it was over.

When I made that post, I received several emails not wanting to see the show die and expressed support. We firmed some things up at Internext. So..... the tales of my demise was a little premature. I really meant it though.

I am still semi-retired. Sold all my websites and after a 7 year run - not doing AdultDex this year. I still have http://www.spankyscontent.com

Finally a Southern California show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally a show at a time, and location, that does not require 3 gallons of sweat per day dripping from my testicles!

WOOHOO!

Way to go Mom! Choosing the CA. venue was an awesome move, that is the pulse of this business.

I understand retiring adultdex, it was time.

Long live CyberNetExpo!

Glad to hear all the interest!

We are hoping to design this show to attract more of the veterans, and less of the ratpack mentality :P

Yes, YnotBob will do something for the 'newbies - but I want to see all the old friends back! (old in Internet years :-)

Fay,

What are sponsorship opportunities?

SD is HomegrownVideo's hometown, I'm sure we could do something.

email moffitt at homegrownvideo dot com

thanks

I already see the idiots at GFY foaming at the mouth to act like idiots and drink other peoples booze for free again. Maybe someone can sponsor an IDIOT-FREE hospitiality area.

Excellent news Faye.

San Diego was one of the locations we were looking at for a Webmaster Summit show but ended up going with Vancouver and now have a certain bitter Vancouver company threatening legal action....

I love San Diego and CyberNet will give me an excuse to go there again.

Sykk,

next time go with Rancho Bernardo Inn (http://www.ranchobernardoinn.com)
for the West Coast webmaster summit.

I could walk there.

Excellent locale, Fay!

I wonder why AVN loves us to sweat balls everywhere we go with them?

Dravyk - They probably have it in their contract that they get a cut from every $7 bottle of water that the hotel sells! :biglaugh:

We're not West Coast Webmasters though, we're Webmaster Summit ;-)) completely different company running the show...

We'd still like to do a San Diego show sometime in the future but don't want to do it too close to Fay's show..

We will be returning to Toronto in the Spring time though and looking at a few other cities for summertime...all depends upon how well the Vancovuer show goes.

THANK YOU FAY!!!! :rokk: :rokk: :rokk:

My hubby is a SD native, we lived there for several years (before getting stuck in the desert) and it truly is my favorite city in all of California.

Can't WAIT! Awesome choice... I know there are LOTS of local webmasters, companies - and it's a great place to visit for out-of-towners. Hope the hotel has room for loads of folks cuz this one's gonna be a packed house!

Ya know Brad... I gotta agree with you. An idiot-free zone would be an awesome idea. The last couple of shows have been a real pain in the ass with all the folks who are there just to drink up, party and act like the fools that they really are...

I miss the old Nat Net suite in New Orleans... that was STILL the best networking spot hands down 2 shows in a row... no bozos allowed...

If wanting an idiot free hospitality suite IMO offering a coffee/expresso bar
is simple way to do it. You remove the free booze, you remove the idiots
associated with it and the results of it...

Throw in some background blues/jazz and that will keep the
'thumpa-bumpa-playaz' at bay and let the adults converse,
network and make $...

Do you really think that would work? Boy, I would be for it...!

I have only ONE Penthouse Suite - 3,000 sq ft. for $895 a night. Would sure offer it up for someone interested in that kind of an idea! Maybe, it wouldn't get trashed..

San Diego, huh? In June, huh? Wow ... that would be nice. Depending on the USMC deployment schedule for my girlfriend's son, I could combine bidnez with pleasure for that one.

And hey, homey ... did somebody say exprezzo? Like, free exprezzo? Oh shit dawg, I be soooooooooooo down wid dat.
