I know, I know :headwall:
I never thought I would be happy to lose, but I will do backflips if the Falcons can start the season 2-2.

First 4 games should've been easy other than Tampa.
I agree though now, it could be ugly.
Week 1 is Dallas. Parcells will smell an opportunity with Vick out and will have the Cowboys UP for that game hoping to use it to build some momentum.
Week 2 is Washington. Same type deal, rebuilding team will be looking to beat the weakened Birds especially if the Cowboys pull off a win.
Week 3 is Tampa. And I dont even wanna talk about it. Though a safety may decide that one as Brad Johnson hasn't looked good so far either, though their running game is looking improved.
Week 4 is Carolina. Not a playoff level team, but definitely good enough to pull off some upsets and beat some top level teams if they overlook them and dont bring their A-game.
I'd take 2-2 right now as well. Doug Johnson isn't bad, but remember he only scored 17 points in the one game he started last season. At least the defense is playing well.

T, I am digusted as well....
Saints look terrible... had some key injuries on the last preseason game...
We are in trouble. I know its only pre-season, but I doubt the Saints will break even. The only starter who looks ready for the season is Deuce.
The first quarter of the Raven's game tonight was great (the other 3 quarters were horrendous)
Kyle Boller looks like he will be the starter here in Baltimore, will be interesting to see his learning curve in the NFL
Mike, Billy can you please go kick the Saints owner over Kyle Turley leaving the Saints?

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, preseason isn't real football. Steelers/Ravens week 1, doesn't get much better than that. I swear I'm not a sports nut, honest, I mean it, hey, did you just diss my terrible towel, I'm gonna &((*)& you up. :)

Falcons: I think Dan Reeves summed it up in his post game interview..."Believe me, I've got my work cut out for me," he said.....the understatement of the month.
Saints: Wondering if the two losses I had them down for to the Falcons, might end up being wins....don't think I will hear the end of it from MikeAI!! :)
Vick....dont rub it in!!! :)
Ulfie: You know I love you, dude.....BUT....."Steelers/Ravens week 1, doesn't get much better than that. "......LOL!!!! This is funny on so many levels :)

I'm with Dan on this one, the hell with the NFL this year. My fantasy team's in the crapper with all my QB's gone and my 1/2 ass RB Stewart is now out indefinetly. Doesn't get much sadder than watching the Lions lose to the Bills.
Let's Go Blue, Real Football starts on Saturday.

My pro team finished #1 and my college #2 last year. I'm resigned to that being the best combo I'll ever see in my lifetime.
Anyone ever have a #1/#1 season?

I follow several pro teams(depends on where bama players are:) but I've been a cowboy fan since I was a kid. That said, in '92 cowboys won the super bowl and alabama won the national championship. 1/1 :)
!992 great year for football :rokk:
Psssst ...
College Football is bush league
The best players and athletes in the world play in the NFL
College Football is to Pro Football as Minor League Baseball is to Pro Baseball
The only thing going for College Football is all the rah-rah stuff and rooting for your Alma Mater or regional team
The overwhelming amount of players in College Football can't make the pros and will never play a down on the NFL.
Do you see millions of people gathering around TV's to watch Monday Night College Football?
If you're going to watch a sport, you want to watch the BEST players and coaches

I'm pretty happy with the Bucs so far.
Brad Johnson is not doing too well, but Sean King has stepped up to the plate a bit. Our running game is looking good, and even if we lose Pittman, I think we will be in good shape.
The defense was really sharp last night, only allowing 1st downs when our 3-4 teams were in the last 5 minutes of the game.
We stand a good chance this year,.. especially if the competition continues to play at levels like they have been this preseason
If anyone would really like to see a real spectacle, join me on December 28th for the last regular season home game of the year for the Chargers.
Chargers vs. Raiders
These games are a spectacle to begin with, more fighting than you will ever see at any NFL stadium.
Now just imagine if this game has playoff implications.
