Fantasy Football Update

We have 16 teams this year, some from Oprano and some from Porn City. 11 teams have paid the $20 to me via paypal. Still waiting on 5 others.

The draft is going to be done on Thursday, August 27th. I will let everyone know when it is done. This will give you an opportunity to change your team before the season starts for real next Thursday.

There is still time to signup if you want to. Here's the info:

You can go here to signup. http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1 You need to create a yahoo userid and password to get in if you don't have one. The league id is 301878 and the password is wepayu. I had to do the autodraft because the times available just won't work for people. The draft will be done on Thursday, August 28th. This will give people a week to make trades or pick up players to improve their teams.

Entry fee is $20, I'll be holding the bling. You can paypal it to me at ulfie2000 @ comcast.net or mail it to me or whatever. All my info is in my profile.

The money will go to the winner and second place teams. Once I see how many teams we have I'll determine the split. I'll also work on some other prizes during the season. YOU MUST PAY BEFORE THE DRAFT. I don't want people backing out because they didn't get the team they wanted.

FreakBigFeet is a woman oddly enough. Are the New Orleans Drunks Buff's team? I'm not sure who that one is. Kittydogs is a weird one though. Do they always land on their feet? We'll have to find out. :)

I'm a little slow on this - I asked him if he'd made any trades. He said yes but the person he tried to trade with laughed at him. I told him Vick had made fun of someone that tried to trade with him and so maybe it was Vick..... :unsure:

He had to point out that I don't recognize my own kid........ :P

Well, I'm used to playing against idiots on Yahoo Public League Football which is why I won it last year. You just gotta bear with me.

I'll get Gardner though, can't let my Clemson Tiger play for another team :D

CT - I was looking at your roster and don't think we can make a trade that will get you Rod Gardner

The problem wth Pinkston is he only weights 174 LBS and at that size will probably get hurt in the NFL running crossing routes

Edit - plus Gardner went over 1,000 yeard with 8TD catches last year and should be better this year
Pinkston has never gained 800 yards in his 3 seasons and fumbles. Plus Tampa will probably beat on him this week

Look for rain tonight in DC for the 'Skins - Jets game
