I'm putting together a fantasy league for this year and we need some more players. I played in one last year for the first time and loved it. Well, I also won but there weren't any prizes. :( This year we want everyone to put in 10 or 20 bucks and the winner takes all. Should be a whole lot of fun. While you won last year Hell Puppy (congrats again) always remember that you won the second Oprano Pick 'em - I was the first Oprano Pick 'em winner in a hotly contested battle with KK (KK didn't play last year which was a disappointment)

and I will admit last year I lost to Dr. Guile (a Canadian, Canada is where they play football with 3 downs, a field 55 yards wide, 110 yards long and 12 men on the field) on our side bet

But it's a whole new season -

Here's the details, you can go here to signup. http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1 You need to create a yahoo userid and password to get in if you don't have one. The league id is 301878 and the password is wepayu. I had to do the autodraft because the times available just won't work for people. The draft will be done on Thursday, August 28th. This will give people a week to make trades or pick up players to improve their teams.

Entry fee is $20, I'll be holding the bling. You can paypal it to me at ulfie2000 @ comcast.net or mail it to me or whatever. All my info is in my profile.

I think we are going to have a full league this year so enter your team early. The money will go to the winner and second place teams. Once I see how many teams we have I'll determine the split. I'll also work on some other prizes during the season. YOU MUST PAY BEFORE THE DRAFT. I don't want people backing out because they didn't get the team they wanted.

...and don't forget, I took 2 weeks off or I would have been in the thick of it ;0

Last year I did ok, but had an off year (though I did have 3 winning weeks in GFY's pool (still haven't received my winnings yet though)...

not bad for a guy who doesn't even watch fotball ;-)

I would never last in a fantasy league though, I don't follow football enough

In one of my baseball fantasy leagues, I'm in 2nd place and in another, I'm 9th.

In my wrestling fantasy league, my heel, The Dehumanizer, is the world champion after just having been victorious in a flaming cage match.

Vick, I had to do the autodraft. The only times available were between 6-9 AM and that just wasn't working for anyone I talked to. The draft will be done 1 week before the season starts so that will give people time to make trades and add/drop players before the season starts.

My team was almost completely different by the end of the year which is how I won. My original team was awful but I was able to pick up a lot of good players that other people dropped or missed throughout the year. It's going to be tougher this year because we are going to have a lot more teams.

hahaha, actually, The Dehumanizer is modeled slightly after Kane
he wears a bondage mask with an Anarchy A on it and likes to cut himself.

in fantasy wrestling, the wrestlers are made up, then we do interviews, in-rings, and strategies and the results are posted the next week by the writer/writers. Some us simulation software to determine the outcomes with weight given for better interviews, viniettes, strategies, etc. then the writers cerate the matches. It's actually a lot of fun unless you get a dead league where no on does strats or interviews...
