I must admit to laughing "with glee" when quite a few folks have been bitten by Karma, but I know you're not supposed to... for fear that Karma (for laughing and enjoying others' pain) will come back on you. Karma. I don't believe the Universe conspires in such ways. Some people commit terrible deeds and get away with them. Some people are punished for acts they didn't commit. Some people have randomly horrible things happen to them.

A life is long. It's easy to see patterns where there are none because there are so many events in one's life to choose from. This event balances this one. This deed balances this one and so on.
