I wonder if he'll wear his white gown and white pointy hood at the press conferences if he gets elected?

Yeah, he's a Libertarian, but he's also a member of the moron party...

I don't just root for a libertarian because he's a libertarian, I'm not a party sheep....I'll leave tht to the repubs and dems ;-)

legal weed? one platform does not a quality candidate make... ;-)

If I were a California Democrat, I'd welcome that guy into the race with open arms. He can split the moron vote with the Daddy Warbucks of the recall movement, and dilute the Republican votes some.

Of course, if I were a Californian, I'd be pretty disgusted with the whole recall thing anyway - and I'm reasonably certain it wouldn't make a fine flying fuck of a difference who the Governor was.

Speaking as a Californian, I'll quote our fearless leader G-Dub on Savage: "Bring it on!" And for exactly the reason you posted. I'd have to agree that it probably doesn't matter too much who reigns as Governor here; the problems will still be in place, and sometimes I think things are so fucked up no one could be in office long enough to "straighten them out."

Fact is Republicans don't usually fare too well here in the Golden State, being we're chock full of artsy-fartsy liberal types and a huge number of folks with an interest in pandering to immigrants, legal or otherwise.

I got an email from a friend today:

So, I'm just thinkin'...all I need is 65 signatures (yes, you read that
right...65 registered California Democrats), and a $3500 filing fee, and I
can run for Governor of California on October 7...whaddya think? Should I give myself an early Christmas present?

Imagine that? Hell, I'd support her... at least I know she'd actually do her JOB; I'm not that confident about any of the politicians currently in office.
