I posted this in Forest's thread last week:
So, I watched Larry King .. how is it possible that they are talking about all these people having her entire collection of 20 films (cut into 200 films) she made in just 3 years, from 15-18.

She says she gets people telling her they own the collection .. aren't those folks just admitting to own child porn? I mean, she only made those movies from 15-18.

Nope, that is WHY i thought it was so weird. They were talking about it being sad for a minor, but the CP aspect of it all was neglected. Maybe on purpose?

I just thought it was so strange they talked about everybody and their mom having her videos, yet she's under 18.

They did say that for the 80s, people we paying less attention to it. Also, when the FBI came in the picture, the producers blamed her for telling them she WAS 18+..

i don't know many things about traci lords real story. I watched the interview as well and I have the feeling she was lying all the time.

It really doesn't matter what it is in OUR eyes, it matters what it is in the law's eyes. In MY eyes, going 100 MPH on 400 when there's no traffic is OK. The authorities disagree with me, and in the end, their opinion counts more than mine. B)

But if you're ASKING for my opinion, yes, it's CP. A 17 year old (and as I've said before, I think the age goes even higher than 18) cannot make rational decisions regarding her life.

Seems to me that different people can make such decisions at different ages depending on their maturity, etc. 18 is a good enough age to choose but it is completely arbitrary.

I think there's a level of acceptance for Traci Lords. Many people probably own her videos and haven't even thought of the fact that it should be considered child porn.

I remember when Hustler named her Asshole Of The Month a long time ago for getting porn producers in trouble and getting the rewards for being deceptive...she gts movie roles and they could have faced jail time.

I remember my local video store that also rented porn had an employee go through their entire video collcetion getting out all of the Traci Lords stuff and having to burn the tapes.
