"The threshold is 100 chargebacks for a Sponsored Merchant to be required to meet the 1% ratio"

Guys, can you please confirm that this is in fact the case?
Is this 100 charge-backs per month???
If so, this will certainly remove concerns for the majority of sites/programs, leaving only the larger programs at risk!
Thanks

Here is what he posted on gfy,BPJ.

It really does appear to be a concern for the major affiliate programs.

How are chargebacks figured, is it daily? So if we go over 1% on one day we are screwed?

Thanks,

No. It is a monthly calculation.

No, thank God! Visa is very reasonable in that regard.

I'm not epoch but i'll confirm that this is what they have stated. Sites below 100 chargebacks per month are held to a 2.5% standard not a 1% standard.

This is VISA rules?

What is the math on this? 100 chargbacks a month at 1% is a lot of signups....

Mike, that is only 10,000 transaction, which is not alot for a PPS program.

Yes Grasshopper, but HiRise has 2 merchant accounts for my OWN personal traffic, and my personal sites. 10,000 transactions is more then I would ever need a month, especially with NO trials.

Of course we are below 1% anyway.....
