Life is good.... have some challanges ahead, but I have my family, a great wife, and great dogs!! :D

I think this applies to my entire life.... I think its all about attitude. That is one thing YOU always have full control over.

Of course I am an optimistic person by nature....

Shake it, don't break it, baby
You gotta let you hair hang down
I eat my dinner right out of a garbage can
I got my clothes from the lost and found
You gotta roll with the punches, spin like a top
I don't have much but I've got a lot of personality
And that's all that counts

When my ship rolls in, I'll be ready, oh yeah
And I'll be struttin my stuff through the high class part of town
When my ship rolls in, I'll be ready

Dazed and kinda lazy
I was bailing out my boat with one hand
Movin closer and closer to the green silver coast
I wasn't happy 'til my feet hit the sand
You gotta eat right through the bone, gotta chip away the stone
I got rocks in my head and my pants
You're a land lover baby, and I'm your supply and demand

When my ship rolls in, I'll be ready, oh yeah
And I'll be struttin my stuff through the high class part of town
When my ship rolls in, I'll be ready
Shakin it

Drivin real fast in my limousine
I got two girls in the back, it's the American dream
There's so much money but so little time
It seems like yesterday I didn't have a dime (not a dime)
Got me a mansion and a swimming pool, living this luxury is totally cool
It's a long way from the bottom and a short drop from the top
Now that my ship's come in I ain't gonna stop

But Mr. Bling you are mistake on what makes a good life.

The things that make life good are not material possessions. Money cannot buy family, friends, good health.... These are the things that mean the most to me.

What money is able to do, at least for me, is to give me a lot more free time so I can spend quality time with my family ( Went to my sisters yesterday and played with my 2 nephews, 1 is 3 the other a little over 1), and of course with my lovely wife.

The best thing about having some finanical success is not worrying about bills and other things most people have to worry about. I read somewhere one of the leading reasons couples fight is about money....

Mr.Bling - Escalades are nice, but I would not trade is having my family around for every car, house, dime I have....

One thing I've always admired about you is that your friends and business associates go WAY back - not just a year or so. Not everyone in this biz (or in any biz) can say that! :okthumb:

Edited to add - and you're very close to your family - even if you're a Mama's boy, hehehe. :nyanya:

MikeAI,
You are right in a sense, but priorities do change with age,

I am 20 years old at the moment, My current priorities are

making money and saving, partying, and taking out trophy girlfriends, traveling, risky behavior.

Once I get older around 30 ,
things will change into the boring stuff like family and things of course :)

GOT TO LIVE THE BIG PIMPIN LIFE! now or never.

Bling, I understand this.... but even when I was 20, I still realized family and friends was the most important thing in the world.

Hell I was in college and dead broke at 20.... driving a 9 years old beat up Ford LTD.... but I still had fun, and at the time though my life was great...

I will have to give that an 8 1/2 - because close to retirement, you never know if you have enough.

Still waiting for a soul mate for the golden years.

Overall, I have been living my dream and accomplished most of my goals - guess it is time to add some new ones - that is what keeps you young. However, in dealing with stress, I have learned to leave the past where it belongs & deal with today, with only a watchful eye about tomorrow.

Overall, I wouldn't change my life with anyone

I don't make "playa money" because I don't really care about money. I have a few good, close friends, 3 great kids, a wonderful wife that deserves way better than me and yet still puts up with me and has stuck with me through making a lot of money and losing a lot of money; hell she and I got together at the lowest point in my life when I was sweeping parking lots and had just gotten through a relationship that had me carrying around a razorblade in my wallet. Money in the bank means NOTHING if you don't have someone to share it with, someone who was there BEFORE the money.

Financial - 6.5

Love - 10

Overall - 7.5

I got hurt on Monday, throwing out trash at the dump from the back of a Uhual truck. Pulled my shoulder and back out and gave myself whiplash falling onto a weight bench.

I've been wearing this damn neck brace every day. I look like a freaking goof with the largest one they made and it barely fits, can get the velcro to latch on by about a quarter of an inch.

Been on Vicodin, Flexall, and Motrin, I feel wafty heady first thing in the morning every day. Like now.

I love it when people who work hard in a business say they do not care about $. That is what you call covering your failure tracks. Serge, I am smarter than most. I have not left, still do well. In fact last month was my best month in years. Do not worry about me leaving soon, I enjoy the challenge and am looking forward to it. I was bored for a while, biz was just too easy, $ flooded in. But those days left us yesterday.

You must really get excited when I say it, because I've always said what I love best about this biz is the ability to work at home and do what I want with my time. Period. It was great earlier when I could home when my son was growing up and it's great now because I love where I live.

As Michael pointed out, money is NOT the most important thing to a LOT of people. :awinky:

Working at home sucks, I would go crazy.

Serge, based on my income level I actually live pretty conservatively. I have not bought a new car well over a year, drive a 3 year old navigator I paid cash for. Sure I have a Ferrari, but I got a sweet deal and when it comes time to sell, it will have cost me $30k to drive a ferrari for 3 years, less than $1k a month.

BTW, I am selling a 59 porsche, you would look good in it! I do not need excess toys.

My biggest expense in my homes, one of which is a very good investment.

Often times, I will go a week with $100 in my wallet and have $50 at the end of the week. I go to Vegas, see people blowing $1000's, flying first class. I fly AA, $219 and spend $1000 in a weekend and eat Sbarro.

I am not the one with the spinning dubs! Bling Bling!

It's ALL you have going for you, so you'd better keep it.

Sure, money matters, but moreso than people around me that are there for me? Nope.

As I've said before, I don't hate you, I pity you. Your insecurities show through moreso with each post.

Speaking of your friends, why do so many of your past employees, "friends", etc. seem to love dishing the dirt on you on ICQ so much? I admittedly have more than my fair share of skeletons, but Brad, you have a freaking graveyard...

I don't get it, for such a nothing that I am in this business, why do so many people love to send me little tidbits on people in this business? I mean, sure, I just found out one of my best friends in highschool got a cushy job with the FBI, but really, he's the one who got the morals (poor guy), not me.

Should anyone send you ANY information about me and the midget, a jar a mayonaise and a crowbar, I SWEAR it didn't happen!

(It was actually Shok that happened to, but he swore me to secrecy......)

Sickboy, I am such a cocky ass that I do not have enough $ to fund friends, so anyone that I am friends with can see past the bling bling, or lack therof.

As for past employees, only ones I can think of that talk junk also happen to be ex gf's. Imagine that. Figured you were bright enough to take that into consideration. I take very good care of my employees, have had the same core group for years.

Keep telling yourself that first part....
ex-gf's? not unless they were male....but hey, who am I to judge?

nah, I know better than to take ex-gf's words on anything...hell, my ex-gf's all think I'm a stand up nice guy who talks to Jesus....

Do you REALLY think your employees all love you? Hmm, interesting core of employees indeed...

but I guess you know them better than I do....I mean, I am after all, a nothing in this business......

Jealous of what? being an insecure little man with no real friends and employees who talk behind his back? Um, no thanks.

I'll stick with what I have which is something you'll NEVER have....a great wife, three great kids and REAL friends.

Again, I pity you....just a little.....

You can play cocky prick on the boards all you want, it won't change what you really are....sadly insecure

When the well runs dry
Say goodbye to your fair-weather friends
If I need a hug
And I feel like crawling under a rug
If I fell on my face
I know that you'd be there to help me up

Cause it's you, only you that makes me strong
Ain't nobody gonna make me live my life alone

A friend won't leave me lying in the road
While the others they just pelt me with their sticks and stones
Won't steal my money
Won't rob my home or take my honey
A friend will always be there when I grow old

You know, lovers they come and go
Like ships to a dock, a bunch of heartbreakers they are
They blind you with their innocence
Tie your heart in knots

If I need some hope
And I feel I'm at the end of my rope
You make that funny face
You're always there to cheer me up

Won't steal my money
Won't rob my home or take my honey
A friend will always be there when I grow old
Won't think it's funny
Will stand for me when others call me a dummy
A friend will always be there when I grow old

Hi Sykkboy...

I dont know ya.. so I wont judge ya...

but I will tell you this... not only do I work for Brad.. I am his friend... funny thing is.. most people don't see past his sense of humor.. and others get pissed off at his somewhat accurate stabs on some peoples party parades... but in the end.. its funny how someone his age.. with his accomplishments.. comes to the office everyday.. and is so focused on what where we are going as a company and what we are doing do better our company...

and for the record.. everyone who has rsvp'd for his bachelor party is paying his own way.. "even all of us employees"...

peace
greg

I hate to say it, but you gotta give it to Brad to have someone like Greg around.

Shit, first time I met him, I couldn't help but like him, even with that funny accent. =o) Good to see you around Greg.

Actually, we had a few drinks in Vegas, and I even posted on GFY about the only thing Brad had going for him was some of his key employees, including you, but fact remains, a lot of those employees aren't happy, but hey, what employees are?

I could really give shit one about Brad's online personality, goodness knows I do business with some of the more "colorful" personalities on GFY

The fact still remains, I've never hated Brad, only pitied him...and I don't really see that changing anytime soon.

I admire your loyalty, hell if Brad had a few more like you he could probably even improve his own insecurities more...

If I stop by the booth in Florida, I would just be forced to have to deal with Brad's amazing accumulation of wealth and stunning self image....

But, I'll be sure to spam you about a certain Vancouver show I hear rumors of ;-))))
