I picked up a domain that makes about $120k a year from typeins alone.
Picked it up for the low low price of 600 bucks :D

I sold a .nu for $2,000 - some .coms for $1,000, and recently and some .coms and .nets for $85 - $100 bucks... the the motivation and possible use by the buyer and seller decides.
