This is Jill. Katie just did a test shoot, infact I am pulling these photos off of Katie's laptop. I just grabbed a few.

She is very new, was very nervous.... she used to be a gymnist, her body is rock solid. She does have a tatoo though on her back...

As far as tattoos, for shoots you don't want them on, have you tried using Dermablend? Apparently it will cover even deep birthmarks - tattoos should be a breeze.

Look at the top pic and then the middle one -
She looks much better facially over the shoulder than straight on due to the set of her nose (and eyes)

Could be just that one pic though, that's why I like to see a few more face shots

Tattoos on cute young girls is a fad that needs to die fast....

Dermablend does work and it's a hell of a lot easier than photoshopping them out. The problem is that stuff gets all over everything.....furniture, lingerie, backdrops, you name it.

Those are actually in my office at my house in Tampa. It came with it, have not changed them yet... I like the patriotic look, but does not go well with my antique furniture...

I just don't think you can shoot her straight on - mostly due to her nose (and I know about noses, I have enough for 2) - even through I wouldn't say it to her. - You probably can't 90 degree profile either

I'd try to do as much as possible like the first pic - over the shoulder, head tilts (up,. down, angles and so on), lots of cutesy stuff, lots of smiles -
know you need a good deal of material so a few straight ons out of thousand of pics won't kill anything

You can try some more tests and have a better feel for what will work with her

Looking at some of the other pictures, I think it IS the eyebrows. They're really badly done, but a nice brow pencil and shaping later will fix that.

And you could do what I do and completely forgo curtains or valances. It drives my interior designer SIL up the wall. :awinky:

She's hardly the venus de milo ... nice, but not quite a historical masterpiece. She is VERY 'cute', has an innocent but 'ready to learn' look in the eyes ...
