I don't think it has anything to do with having learned to keep quiet, spreading rumors about Saddam being dead during the war had a very obvious purpose, putting Saddam in the position of having to prove he was alive made it easier to find him...

i think the military is pretty non-specific when it comes to these types of operations in terms of what they achieved or did not achieve. its generally the media that starts to twist it over time and turns terms like "we had reason to believe" and "highly probable" etc into terms like... "they previously claimed" after the fact.

The USA, well, sorry, GW wants to get it over with as soon as possible with some possitive marks on his name.

You know what the Gov is capable of, meaning, how easy it would be to falsify dna tests or any tests for that matter.

I want to believe, but we've been told so many lies since the beginning of all this, its hard to tell whats fact and whats fiction. Actually, lies come with politics, so everyone should just be used to it by now huh?
