This was maybe the most beautiful early summer I have ever seen in Chicago. Pretty much 70s, no humidity for the last 3 weeks. That's about to change, I'm glad I bought my new AC unit :okthumb:

Don't even talk to me about heat! Seriously... I think it's hotter this year then last or maybe because I'm outside every AM at 6:30, right when the light first appears feeding my animals. The sun hasn't even really come up yet and I'm sweating my ass off.

During the day between the humity and heat...then the rain of course, it's unbearable.

I really do love florida and the country but during the summer I wish I as back in the Adirondacks. I need a partner for my farm here and make an agreement for them to stay summers and I need to get another motorhome and head north duirng this time.

Or I'm staying inside until Oct!

I can't even imagine what August is going to be like.

We'd be good to go here in GA if the humidity wasn't soo high. That triggers thunder storms.!

They're building arks down in Atlanta and south of Atlanta.

Up here we haven't gotten near the amount of rain they have, but it's still rained more than it ever has.

After 5 years of drought, it's a good thing - but the mosquitos are going to be able to carry us away in a week or so.

Well once again forecasters were totally off, Chicago has very unpredictable weather with huge temperature change range. This year it's been a little stranger than usual though, I never know if I shoud wear shorts or jeans when I go out. That's not usually a problem here, it's cold 6 months, and hot 6 months with winds and humidity in between.
