Six straight days of anti-government protests in Iran. Iranian officials seem convinced that it is the US' doing.

What's going on here?

There have been periods of anti-government demonstrations before in Iran. The U.S. is ALWAYS blamed for those demonstrations. I think hyping that as an indication that the dominoes are beginning to fall is just a tad bit on the optomistic side.

It's a parody of past posts.

I hate parades.

There have been regular protests in Iran for years... I do not think they are the size and scope of the ones in Eastern Europe/USSR...

But they could grow larger..... would be a nice-good thing.....

People want, deserve freedom.

if you put your posts to music they would fit all three definitions of parody. then it would be more clear when you are... and when you are not trying to be funny.

also, i can make you a small animated gif to display that will warn people when you attempt to be funny so that they can mentally prepare themselves. this will make reading your posts easier on them... and probably enhance the humor somewhat.
