I've had my head buried in code most of the day today...

Garbage in garbage out.....

I have someone that wants to do a birthday mailing... Only problem is they never collected birthdate, they collected age...

So now they want me to write an algorithm to get an accurate birthday based on how old they were when they answered age...

I told them I could get accuracy to within 364 days.... They didn't like that one little bit, so my boss calls me in to ask why I am pissing off the clients and wants to know why I can't get the birthday any closer...........

I would love to take the jump and be working as my own boss...

Unfortunately there is all the house payments, car payments, etc that have to somehow be maintained while taking that leap.

My little sites don't make me enough to support that move in any way.

My "on the side programming" makes me a whole lot more money, so if I make a leap, it will probably be in that direction :)

You possibly have received an email from us in the past however, you wont have received anything tying the newsletter we send and this press release together which, admittedly, is possibly why some webmasters are claiming this to be spam, either way, its no big deal, we know we havent spammed anyone and, to date, everyone, including Peaches, who says they 100% havent opted into anythiing we own have proven to be incorrect with their assumtions.

As i say no big deal no harm was done and it looks like the whole spam issue has been rectified :)

Uh, no, actually I'm personally still waiting for info on when I signed up for GWW (per GA - apparently the info you gave me here as to where you got my email address was incorrect) and opted in to any mailing list.

As I said on ARS, your TOS on at least one of your "resources" stated that by signing up, you'll be sent a monthly newsletter with instructions on how to unsubscribe. I don't get a monthly newsletter from you, so either I've never signed up, or I've unsubscribed. Either way, I NEVER opted in to get email from you nor was I EVER given the opportunity to opt out, INCLUDING the spam I was sent yesterday.

"no harm done" is subjective. Judging by these posts and the ones on ARS, it seems like you've done at least some harm to your reputation. :(
