Concise 18 USC 2257 seems short enough. It is barely one page in length. So in the two minutes it takes to read through it we might think that there is nothing to it. What I learned in law school was that being a lawyer sucks and producing adult videos does not suck. It also made me decide to look deeper into 18 USC 2257 before I started SobeGirl to find out exactly what I was legally allowed to produce. There are hundreds of pages of decisions concerning USC 2257, each of which moves further into explaining what can and cannot be done. I just did a google on:

University of Florida Law School

In all the results the only thing that actually listed "The University of Florida" was the "The University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law".

All the others were florida state university, miami university, etc....

Just for curiosity I did an alumni directory check for "Erik Goldman" (name on the contract he's been flashing) Rick Williams (one of the custodian of records for sobe), Vic Thomas (another custodian listed on some sobe 2257's) and even Eman Gold (his id at ynot)... Seems none of these have gone there or to be more accurate graduated from there...

So, is this just another lie ??? Or is Erik a Law/criminology graduate as he stated to various publications ?

I guess it's not of too much relevance but doing an alumni search on the U of Florida Law School wouldn't bring complete records of all the alumni, it's only the ones that have submitted online to be included in that directory.

Yeah I understand but honestly you can't find out much about anyone to confirm what's true and what's not true without spending a little money for the research. I'm not on either side of this Sobe vs AMA thing because just like the rest of you I was not privy to their private conversations and what is true and what's not true behind the scenes. So rather than everyone riding the bandwagon how about everyone waits to see the outcome to make their real judgements.

Guess what sarettah I've been around for longer than a couple weeks in this biz and I'm very familiar with this situation. I just reserve my judgements for actual facts, rather than what each person says. It's best to do it that way in the majority of all cases. So unless you know personally and heard the conversations between Joe and Erik then I'm guessing you've formed your opinion off of board statements just like everyone else and to me personally that's poor judgement. Believe me if it's proven by a settlement or court verdict that one of the guys is lying then I will be more than happy to jump on and kick some ass with my real feelings, but better judgement and experience always tells me to stick with facts and not pick a side on opinion.

Sorry to take it the wrong way..lol... been that kind of day.

I have tried to withhold some judgement, but everytime Sobe opens his mouth, he just digs himself deeper. That combined with his prvious history makes it hard to remain open minded.

I have tried not to make accusations and merely asked very pointed questions. He like to choose to take them as accusations, he does not seem to take a moment to actually read what is being typed.

I really really wish he would just come out and post something along the lines of "Ok, I screwed up, I am getting with Joe and between he and I, we will make this whole thing right".

If he could humble his ass down enough to do that, I think he would be surpeised to see how many would be willing to let it all drop and let him get on with his biz.

Notice that SobeGirl was added to the list AFTER it was initially created and their website was not compliant with 2257 at the time. Strange that a law school graduate who has reseached this issue so much would have over looked such a vital detail.

Wether or not they are compliant now...I don't know but they have not contacted me to change the listing if they are.

Well...Joe was not compliant when that lost came out. Again, not sure if he is now or not. I only update the list when I am notified of the change and asked to do so.
