Serge Help--Russan Hijacked my ICQ #

This is a vbulletin board of a gent who hijacks ICQ UIN nbrs.

Today I noted I could not access my ICQ, my pw and email have been changed and there is a note in this acct in Russian and English, that its for sale.

This gent gives his icq as 415000 to contact.

Serge can you help me?

So looks like I have to buy it back, can you negotiate this for me Serge and/or see what they want?

Welp Serge, he is Russian so you can communicate with him and see what he wants for those ICQ numbers...Im kinda fucked right now...and you are shrewd and wheel and deal him...

I doubt I can get this back in a legal way, the system is way to slow.

I could put him under server attack tho? Hmmmmmmmmm.

Anyhoo, make contact and see what he is asking, no doubt he charges the same for all numbers I hope.

I do not know what to do.....and language barrier does not help.

You have any ideas?

Forgive my ignorance, but what value is there to a low ICQ number to anyone but the owner? I just don't get it. How does 6 digits vs 9 digits give it a monetary value?

Can someone splane it to me?

I may be getting closer here....I think I know how he did this....

I am trying to get my old old old old email address back so I can get into my acct, it seems some one re-registered my old old old old email addy with bogus info thru a free mailing service.....anyhoo, I am control of the address right now, and once it gets to working, I can go to ICQ and have them send me the pw he assigned, and then I can lock him out, and if he requests the pw, I will know because I have control over the lionsrom@bitstorm.net addy now, and not him....

I am determined to get my ICQ back....

When I succeed Serge, I want to know how to say FUCK OFF ASSHOLE in Russian so I can put that in my profile for him to read.

My old old dial up ISP "bitstorm.net" give out email addresses now for free, so he registered my old one. They verified it, they killed it, they gave it back to me moments ago.

Just have pop issues right this moment. But I am hopeful.

I GOT my ICQ back.

That little asshole is gonna be surprised now. It worked my idea to go back and try to re-instate my old old old old email address which was what I needed to get this weasels pw from ICQ....I got the email, I got his password and I am connected and he is locked out....

Now to find where he embedded his for sale statement....ICQ innards has changed, how complex the options are.

Ok, I feel all better I spoke the Russian to him in ICQ, and then deleted him from my list....ICQ back, its fine, he cannot get it again, and damn this has consumed my day....

Nothing slick about him, he prolly runs a script agains the numbers to see which emails get returned, then he tries to register that email address, if he can get the email ICQ will give you the pw.

I am guilty of having an old email address but it has been 7 years since I registered ICQ.

Anyhoo, I am a happy camper now.

My cat will be thankful :-)
