I am constantly getting phone solicitations from MCI, AOL, blah blah blah… I hate being called at home and asked to buy something. I am constantly asking to be removed. It never really happens.

Don’t you hate this? I find this far more intrusive then SPAM.

What do you think?

The FTC is in the process of instituting a national "No call list". We already have one in GA and it's great. For $5 a line they send your phone number to legitimate telemarketing groups.

However, with caller ID and an answering machine, I haven't dealt with a telemarketer in 15+ years. B)

I offer to lend THEM money,
ask what they wear and breath heavy,
offer to meet after work for a drink and nice sex...

We have a no call list here in Missouri that seems to work pretty well, from what I'm told....

I handle it with caller id and an answering machine...

If they show up as "unavailable" on the caller id, I dont answer... If they show a phone number and a company name, I often will answer and screw with them....

I pay for an unlisted number, I am on the Indiana no-call list, and I screen my calls. I never talk to telemarketers at home and I hang up on them at the office. Not that big of a deal.

I'm wondering how many people actually talk to those people? Then I start thinking... how many people are lonely and at home. The reason home shopping network is so popular.

I've had 4 calls so far today. Next one I'm going to really fuck with them. I love Serge's tip. If I scream and yell at them they probably add my name to 30 more call list, right? lol

I always like to give them one weaqk objection. They usually sieze this as an opportunity to go into their script.

As soon as they start, I set the phone down and go back to what I was doing. Periodically, I check back to see if they are still talking. :redance:

I did get a call about 15 minutes ago. I especially hate weekend AM calls. She says "Good Morning! How are you doing today?" lol

I went into this whole fucking thing.... "I'm having a really bad day... my mother is in the hospital with terminal cancer, my 8 month old son broke his arm last night and this morning I wake up to find an eviction notice on my door and I have no money to move. Now what can I do for you today?

I keep getting telemarketers that call my business phone line that is hooked up to forward my all my phonsex calls from interclimax...

So I'll be right in the middle of a cam show and those telemarketer fuckers call and I have phone sex with them. It happens all the time. Oh they piss me off!
