Turn off the lights, light a candle, look in a mirror and say "Bloody Mary" three times and she'll appear.

I was the kid that dared to do that and she turned me into a bloody pornographer.

Hmm. That's something I did not expect to see inside behind such a title...

Being Russian I'm telling you - that mirror thing is totally wrong - just drink 10 shots of Bloody Mary and she'll definitelly come for you :)

Colin, the way we do it in Russia is...
3/4 of spiced tomatoe juice, and than...very slowly, you ad 1/4 of either alchohol (my parents recepie) or vodka,
to have a clear ring on top of juice..
cold vodka, followed by warm juice is what we call shot!

I preffer bloody mary that way
;-)

Colin, we used to do the same thing.... it is funny how things like that are universal....

It has cause me to create a nasty habit of drinking many Bloddy Marys - especially in the morning of Duck Hunts....

haha

It is. I was just having this conversation yesterday night. Childhood mythology and rituals. "Cooties", boogeymen, "jinx, you owe me a coke!", "punch buggy!", "Engine, engine, number 9", "eenie meenie minie mo!" ....

Kids spread them to their friends and those kids grow up and spread them to their kids. My father taught me games he and his friends played as kids and I taught my friends that had never heard of them spreading the game-virus across a generation from Boston to Orlando.

I taught my kids all sorts of games from when I was a kid... Kick the can, ringalevio, capture the flag, Boston Bulldog....

Each time I would teach them a new game, they would go out and spread it to their friends....

Kick the can was the rage all summer in our neighborhood for 3 or 4 summers straight....
