Three al Qaeda suspects were planning to hijack a Saudi plane and crash it into a building in the Red Sea town of Jeddah, Saudi security sources told CNN on Wednesday.

Sounds like Al Qaeda is either desperate (only able to work in the Middle East) or pissed off at Saudi Arabia...

Here's a side note:

Many people seem to believe that the only terrorists we need to worry about are Al Qaeda; but that is 'name-branding' terrorism. Al Qaeda was just the first to actually strike within our borders and do so severely enough to make the news. Actually, we have a number of domestic organizations perpetrating acts of terrorism. PETA, Sierra, ELF, KKK (and other white supremacist groups), LULAC, the Brown Berets, The New Black Panthers, Jesse Jackson's groups, and let's not forget people like ANSWER and Not in My Name; nor should we forget that political organization that can only campaign by telling people that they will lose their Social Security, their children and grandchildren will be either starved or poisoned, etc. if they vote for the other party.

Add to that that there are many Islamo-Facist organizations (Hamas, PLO, Islamic Jihad, etc.) not only in the Middle East, but around the world...the war on terrorism, like the war on drugs, will be lost if only half-measures are taken.

Don't forget the old Muslim? saying..."The enemy of my enemy is my friend.".

Torone, The people of Saudi Arabia for the most part (polls I have read, the general word out there) don't agree well with the ruling family. There is alot of anti-americanism out there, more so since the Iraq assault (I can't call it a war, but that's just me).

The terrorists seem to be using this current time as an attempt to "drive out the infidels", bringing enough terror to the country to get the ruling party to quietly ask the US to shove off. Already the US is closing military installations, and I expect to see the US pretty much 100% out of Saudi territory soon enough.

The terror groups will use this as a "victory" and use that victory to push harder.

Dominoes, ya know?
