Industry expanding

it seems that this industry is growing and growing
many new webmasters join this industry day after day the numbers
are enormous compared to 3-4 years ago,
how do you think it's going to affect us all in the future?
will we get a smaller piece of the pie or does this mean more good compettion ending in more profit?

and from ALL industries, no exceptions taken,
I see thew same pattern-
consolidation and survival of the fittiest.

These were my initial thoughts exactly. There are a lot of people still gettign into it with the pipedream of making a ton of money over night right away and when this doesnt happen they will head back to mcdonalds.

I like the way people think that anyone coming into the 'industry' used to work at Mickey D's or Burger King, and when they fail in the 'industry' they return to flipping burgers....


I'm a qualified Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with 12 years experience so if I ever left the 'industry' would I have to start flipping burgers?

I don't really see it growing as much as I see it shrinking and consolidating..... as happens with all technologies. The 'gold rush has been over for a long time.
