Yeah the only big industry related new is BAD stuff - the decline of credti card processing. It will be the biggest story of 2003 as well....

There has been no real innovation in the industry for a long time.... nothing major... ( unless you count coming up with ways to deal with merchant accounts)

What about Epoch vs Mastercard ?

It should be interesting to see what eventuates from that.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but.... for all the tough talk and dollar waving that goes on in this biz, so far all I've see everyone do is bend over and take it from the CC processors.

In that respect it's good to see someone finally standing up for the fact that our industry is worth a shitload of money and deserves to be treated fairly and above the table.

well that's basically because we need CC companies but they don't need us
CC companies (Visa & Mastercard) could shut down processing for adult related items tomorrow and not be really hurt by it however it would kill the on-line adult industry

However I don't know the legalities of such a move

I agree that it's great and overdue what Epoch is doing but again CC companies don't need us, we need them
