Saw Identity and Confidence this weekend. Identity is really good. See it in a theater with a great sound system if you can. Confidence is pretty good too. Dustin Hoffman was excellent.

i havent even heard of these movies, we are like 3-6 months behind the civilized world... im going to see Anger Management tonight.... the only plus to theaters here is that for the same price as an american flick, you can get a lazyboy with heating vibrating massage, blanket, pillow, oversocks, and a waiter =)

"Identity" - damn good flick
"Dark Water" - tones of "Ringu" and "The Phone" and from the same guys who made "Ringu" If you like intelligent movies that aren't 10,000 edits per minute videos for those with a short attention span, this is a damn good ghost story. Not a lot of action, but a ton of atmosphere, great storytelling and amazing acting.
I'm trying to get ahold of a copy of "TheEye" (yes, I'm on my asian horror flick kick again :awinky:)

Before the comments get whipped at me for this one i will explain why and how I saw this film.

Blue Crush

Imagine Entertainment is going after the Jerry Bruckheimer film audience by taking the same basic storyline as most films that bruckheimer has made ( which is also the formula Imagine used for 8 mile with Eminem ) by taking the basic anti hero and making them the hero

I am getting ready to pitch a venture capital group on a mainstream project (which yes i do whenever I can ) to do a big wave surf extreme video from Hawaii, South Africa, Australia etc.

So I heard Blue Crush had an absolutely incredible surf sequence....andfit did. Amazing camera work and editing. if you are a film buff....and I mean a film buff who likes to see the craft of shooting thisa is worth seeing.

the bonus is a litttle actress by the name of Kate Bosworth. She is absolutely flawless. in a bad script with a premise designed for retarded kids she was able to come off looking great as an actress and just as a hot chick.

I applaud the guys like Brian Grazer who can tell the same story over and over and just change ou the backdrop and still have legions of people trample in to see the film. Blue Crush is as predictable as Mariah Carey is crazy. it was a cool depature to see something I would have never seen in a million years to see a hot blonde in a bad movie with incredible shots of surfing.

Do recommend it....i f you dig surf or blondes yes I would turn down the volume crank up some queens of the stoeage and watch it that way

I still say the best things you can watch and get your money's worth on is the full season sets of Star trek: Deep Space Nine

This is a link to the script to one of the best episodes (Duet) (http://www.crosswinds.net/~capttrekker/tstds9etf/stds9s1et/ds9419d.htm) of TV you will ever see. Reading it is quite interesting but seeing it on TV and watching the exchange between Maritza and Kira is an awesome acting sight to behold. The rant Maritza goes on several times is just simply an amazing sight to behold. Since I bought the season set I must have watched it 15-20 trimes before I have gone to bed.

Here's a link for the Season One of Star Trek Deep Space Nine (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005JLF5/qid=1051738635/sr=2-3/ref=sr_2_3/104-8145768-6133555) if ya want to check it out. Even if you aren't generall a fan of Sci-Fi I suggest you give it a try. The first two seasons are pretty good with a couple amazing episodes like Duet. It really hits it's stride in season 3. Best TV series on tv ever IMHO.

Here's a link for the Second Season of Deep Space Nine (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00008972H/qid=1051738635/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_1/104-8145768-6133555) as well.

Anger Management is one of the better movies I have seen this year.
Darkness Falls was pretty good too...
Of course the second movie of the Rings trilogy was awesome...
